Leadership with Purpose
At the heart of Evergreen is founder and managing director Natasha Mackenzie, a qualified accountant with a strong belief in doing the right thing for clients and the broader community. Natasha has built her career around supporting business owners, board members and not for-profit leaders who value clear communication and genuine advice.
Her commitment to clarity is what defines Evergreen. Natasha spends considerable time educating clients about financial systems, governance responsibilities and reporting standards so they can make confident, informed decisions. Her approach bridges the gap between traditional accounting and meaningful financial understanding—helping clients see their numbers as a tool for progress, not pressure.
Supporting Regional and
Rural Australia
While Evergreen has offices in Brisbane and Melbourne, much of the firm’s work happens beyond the city. Natasha and her team regularly travel across regional and rural Australia, providing services from Tennant Creek and Mount Isathrough to Townsville, the Sunshine Coast and the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
This regional reach ensures that communities and organisations in remote areas receive the same professional accounting and governance support as those in capital cities. The team understands the unique financial challenges faced by rural businesses and not-for-profits and works to provide tailored, practical solutions that make a real difference.
A Growing Network with a
Shared Vision
Over recent years, Evergreen has acquired and integrated several accounting practices, expanding its ability to offer seamless, end-to-end services. These acquisitions have strengthened the firm’s expertise in bookkeeping, taxation, payroll and virtual CFO support, allowing clients to manage all their financial needs under one trusted partnership.
Every new addition to Evergreen’s network shares the same commitment—to provide quality advice, personal service and financial clarity that helps clients stay compliant, confident and ready for growth.

Our Purpose: Clarity, Integrity and Community
Evergreen exists to give clients peace of mind. By combining professional accounting expertise with genuine care, the firm empowers business owners and boards to make informed, ethical decisions that benefit both their organisations and their communities.
Every report, reconciliation and piece of advice is guided by three values: Clarity, ensuring transparency in every number; Integrity, doing the right thing for every client; and Community, supporting those who create positive change across Australia. Get Started

FAQ
What makes Evergreen Accounting & Advisory different from other accounting firms?
Evergreen is built around senior-level expertise and genuine personalisation. Clients have direct access to experienced accountants and advisors who understand their business, with senior team members involved in client relationships and advice. The firm specialises in serving regional Australia from a metropolitan base, meaning clients outside capital cities can access the same quality of advice as those in Brisbane’s CBD. Evergreen is also differentiated by its breadth of services, including accounting, bookkeeping, advisory, Virtual CFO, governance and annual reporting, all under one roof.
Is Evergreen Accounting a CPA firm?
Yes. Evergreen Accounting & Advisory is a CPA Australia Public Practice member, which means the firm meets CPA Australia’s professional standards, continuing education requirements and public practice obligations. The CPA designation provides clients with confidence that their accounting work is managed by a properly qualified and regulated professional.
What qualifications do Evergreen's accountants hold?
Evergreen’s accounting team holds professional qualifications from CPA Australia and/or the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). All tax work is performed or supervised by a Registered Tax Agent. The team maintains ongoing professional development to stay current with changes to tax legislation, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Does Evergreen work with clients across Australia or just in Brisbane?
Evergreen works with clients across Australia. While the firm has offices in Brisbane (Queensland) and Inverloch (Victoria), the majority of client work is delivered remotely through secure cloud-based systems. Clients in regional Queensland, Northern Rivers NSW, North Queensland, rural Victoria and beyond receive the same standard of service as those in major centres.
How does Evergreen ensure the privacy and security of client financial data?
Evergreen uses cloud-based accounting platforms with bank-grade encryption and strict access controls. The firm operates under the Privacy Act 1988 and maintains a Privacy Policy governing the collection, use and storage of client information. Client data is never shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law (such as ATO reporting).
What does Evergreen's onboarding process look like for new clients?
New clients begin with an initial discovery conversation to understand their business, current financial situation and specific needs. Evergreen then prepares an engagement letter outlining the scope of services and fees, requests access to existing accounting systems and records, conducts an initial review of financial records, and establishes the reporting and communication cadence for the ongoing engagement.
